A polymath and inspiring creative leader, Jeff thrives in multidisciplinary marketing and advertising environments where he can lead teams of talented marketers, designers, copywriters, art directors, and photo/video content creators. As a former art director and marketing manager he has a variety of skills including: content creation, SEO/SEM, social media, digital marketing ecosystems and data analytics. His main area of focus is in marketing management and content creation to drive growth, optimize and deliver ROI. His skill set is broad and deep in the various areas required to lead and inspire a team to complete their best work while aways keeping a pulse on current marketing trends fueling innovation and opening doors to produce the best work possible.
Jeff has a knack for working with cross functional teams to help move a project forward, on budget, and on time. With over 20 years of experience he can jump in to assist with marketing management, product marketing, creative strategy, graphic design, package design, commercial photography, video production along with managing budgets, motivating team members and project management. Managing young talent is his passion, from running unique research-based brainstorming sessions to helping develop the final creative executions and presenting to the client. Along his journey he has picked up skills in the various areas that hinge on the creative team’s ability to better understand each team member’s role in a project and how to provide the best collaborations possible.
Additionally, Jeff is not scared to roll up his sleeves and dive into the work. When a team member needs help he is there to help push through the boundary while ensuring the team understands it is all a learning process that may prove to be a challenging problem but not impossible to solve.
Working with students at the university level has taught him a lot about managing large teams, motivating people through strong leadership skills, and helping the next generation learn how to self educate in a responsible manner. Jeff believes strongly in work/life balance and celebrates the development of habits/rituals that positively impact the mental health of all team members.
When he’s not brainstorming with young marketing and advertising professionals or helping polish executions you might find him gardening, throwing pottery on the wheel or camping and hiking with his wife, two children.
